VOUCHER USE – RULES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Vouchers must be redeemed with a Salt Lake Valley landfill employee.
1. This voucher may be used for loads in Cars, SUVs, and Pickups with standard cargo beds (up to a 1-Ton Pickup) and Trailers that are Manually (Hand) Unload (trailers being hauled by 1-Ton or larger trucks are not valid with a voucher and will be charged the regular fee).
2. Loads must originate from the user’s residence without business waste.
3. Driver’s license showing proof of residency may be required in addition to the voucher.
4. Household Hazardous wastes, including antifreeze, batteries, used oil, paint, and electronics, may be disposed of at the SLCo Health Department Household Hazardous Waste location at the Landfill.
5. User must abide by all landfill rules given by landfill personnel.
6. Loads not accompanied by a voucher will be charged regular fees.
7. Voucher is not valid for the disposal of mattresses, tires, or freon-containing units.
